Something big is happening at Altitude… and if you’ve ever struggled to find a class time, get off a waitlist, or snag your favorite apparatus—you’re going to want to keep reading.
We’re expanding.
And not just with more space—but with a completely new kind of experience.
Welcome to our new flex space called Alpha 106.
More Space. More Access. More Opportunities to Fly.
Let’s start with what matters most:
More class availability.
Alpha is being built to solve the number one thing we hear:
“I want to come more often… I just can’t find a time that works.”
This new space will allow us to add:
more beginner-friendly classes
more youth program options
more availability across aerial, yoga, and specialty classes
Which means:✔ easier booking✔ fewer waitlists✔ more consistency in your training
Built for Growth (and Yes… There’s Room for Everyone)
The new space (nicknamed Alpha 106...because it is the beginning and the suite number is 106) is designed to support both new and returning students with a layout that gives us flexibility across multiple aerial disciplines.
We’re planning for approximately:
8 aerial sling points
6 aerial hoop (lyra) points
12–15 aerial yoga hammocks
Flex classes, conditioning, or something new...
This setup allows us to run a wide range of classes while keeping the experience personal, structured, and safe.
And yes—because we know you’re wondering:
👉 We’ll have the same padded flooring you love in our current aerial room, so you can feel confident and supported from your very first class.
An Immersive Aerial Environment—Designed Differently
This is where Alpha becomes something entirely new.
We’re creating an immersive aerial space that can shift and adapt depending on the class—without ever becoming distracting or overwhelming.
With the ability to change the environment at the touch of a button, each class can take on its own tone:
A clean, minimal setting for focused training
Subtle textures or artwork for a refined backdrop
A softly immersive environment for specialty classes
Think:
calming ocean visuals for a sound bath
soft, ambient tones for recovery or flexibility
or a simple, distraction-free space for skill-building and progression
The goal isn’t to compete for your attention—it’s to support the experience.
Always intentional. Never overwhelming.
Designed for Aerial (Yes, the Truss Matters)
Alpha will feature a custom truss system designed specifically for aerial training.
This allows us to:
Safely support multiple apparatus
Create consistent spacing between points
Maximize the number of classes we can offer
It’s not just about structure—it’s about creating a space that works with the training, not against it.
A Huge Win for Youth Programs
If you’re a parent (or have been thinking about enrolling your child), this is a game-changer.
Alpha will allow us to expand:
youth aerial classes
youth beginner programs
and structured progression for kids and teens
More days. More times. More opportunity to stay consistent and grow.
This Is Just the Beginning
Alpha 106 isn’t just a new room.
It’s a new chapter for Altitude.
More access.More flexibility.More ways to train, grow, and experience something different.
And if you’ve been waiting for the right time to start—or to come back—
This is it.

This is such a fantastic read, and you've articulated my exact sentiments about this new kind of aerial experience perfectly. I was particularly struck by the depth you went into exploring it; it’s truly impressive how thoroughly you broke down the nuances. I found myself nodding along constantly, as your insights mirror what I've observed in practice, even in my own amateur attempts at similar activities https://theconversation.com/au I’m already thinking about how the beginner mistakes section could be expanded even further, perhaps with more visual examples or common pitfalls that catch people off guard. It really makes me wonder about the tangible return on investment for someone looking to dedicate significant time to mastering this. Regardless, I’m definitely keeping this…
