Common Beginner Worries

Maybe you're wondering...

"I'm not flexible at all. Can I still come?"

Absolutely! That's exactly why many students join us. Everyone starts somewhere, and we'll help you safely improve over time.

"Will I be doing contortion on my first day?"

"Will flexibility help my aerial or pole training?"

"Is flexibility training painful?"

"Am I too old to become more flexible?"

Definitely not! Our classes meet you where you are and gradually build toward more advanced skills as your flexibility and strength improve.

Absolutely! Increased flexibility can improve lines, movement quality, range of motion, and confidence on every aerial apparatus and the pole.

You should expect to feel challenged—but never forced. Our instructors will help you understand the difference between a productive stretch and something that doesn't feel right.

Not at all! While progress looks different for everyone, flexibility can improve at any age with consistent, thoughtful training.

Altitude Insider Tip #3

Consistency beats intensity.
