What Do I Wear?

Come ready to move!

We recommend:

• Leggings or athletic pants that cover the backs of your knees

• A fitted T-shirt or tank top

• Clothing that covers your waist and underarms (the fabric can create friction!)

• No jewelry, zippers, or clothing that could snag the fabric

Bare feet are perfect.

Common Beginner Worries

Maybe you're wondering...

"What if I'm not strong enough?"

"What if I can't climb?"

"What if I'm scared of heights?"

"Am I too old?"

Perfect.
We'll help you build strength.

Most people can't on Day One.

That's completely normal.

You'll work at your own pace.

Absolutely not.

Some of our favorite success stories began well into adulthood.

"Is Aerial Silks Hard?"

It's challenging—but that's what makes it so rewarding.

You don't need to be strong before you start. You'll build strength as you train. Nearly every student says the same thing after their first class:

"I didn't think I could do that!"

Our instructors specialize in helping complete beginners discover they're capable of much more than they imagined.

At Altitude, every class is scaled to your individual ability, so you'll never be expected to perform skills before you're ready.

Altitude Insider Tip #7

"Don't worry if your forearms are tired after your first class.

Everyone experiences "baby aerial muscles."

That feeling means you're waking up muscles you never knew you had!"
