Aerial Showcase Info Session

Performers that attend the info session will get first pick of characters

Join us and find out more about the upcoming student and instructor showcase October 18, 2019 @ 7:30p.

Online sign up will be available to pick a character and theme after the information session.

THEME: Down the Rabbit Hole (Alice in Wonderland)

Submissions will open on Aug 25 at the information session. Those interested in participating will draw numbers and get to pick their character in that order. SO they will get first pick of the characters. Character list can be found HERE

Performers that attend the info session will get first pick of characters.

We will be sticking strictly to the theme, and will be asking people to pick a character from the books. No two characters can be repeated. More info on the characters & descriptions & how you can apply it to a song you might already have in mind will be presented at the showcase.

Aerial Show: 16+

THIS FORM IS FOR THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE ADULT LEVEL CLASSES! OUR KIDS CIRCUS IS SEPARATE FORM.

PERFORMERS:

We will be accepting up to 14 performances with 2 alternates. We will inform performers after sign ups if they are alternates. Even if you are an alternate, be prepared.

PROPS:

Props are welcome for the show.

TECH: Aerial tech: Oct 13th 730pm

All apparatus will be rigged on the far left beam (closest to the mirrors). We will have 1 of each apparatus for Silk and Rope and 2 of each apparatus for Lyra (1 single point and 1 double) and Hammock (1 high and 1 low) and if you would like to bring your own unique apparatus, please indicate below and we will reach out about rigging. We will only be allowing routines that use ONE apparatus only.

SONGS:

Max length of songs will be 3 min and 30 sec. If this is your first routine, I would highly recommend keeping it around 3 minutes.

DOUBLES:

We will allow doubles routines (only 1 submission necessary for both people). Please note: There will only be ONE aerial apparatus - that means 2 people need to share 1 silk. Please plan accordingly.

AGREEMENT OF PARTIES: Submission to perform requires an agreement to pre-pay $20. This ensures that you know I am serious about no one backing out or "flaking". Funny thing how paying money makes people more committed to following thru.....
